The PowerWize connector uses advanced COEUR socket technology, which can fully improve power efficiency and effectively control costs. PowerWize 3.40mm interconnect devices can meet the needs of modern high-power industrial automation, telecommunications, and network applications, including robots, factory equipment, data storage units, servers, and enterprise switches.
The Molex PowerWize 3.40mm interconnect device adopts a multi contact bundle design, which helps ensure low contact resistance and low voltage drop. The PowerWize connector can provide a current carrying capacity of up to 75A and minimize heat generation to achieve reliable performance. Its plug and socket adopt mechanical key control and color coding, which can avoid misconnection and is very suitable for using multiple cable components in the same application. Positive locking plugs and sockets can also provide tactile and auditory feedback during system integration, helping to ensure secure insertion and preventing cable components from disconnecting due to impact, vibration, or misoperation.
The PowerWize connector has anti electric shock safety function (compliant with UL 60950 standard), and its plug pins and independent slots are equipped with non-conductive caps. PowerWize 3.40mm interconnect devices provide flexible design and manufacturing solutions, suitable for crimping contacts of different wire gauges and plugs. The connectors support surface mount technology (SMT) reflow soldering and wave soldering processes.
