The company announced today the launch of the IXD0579M high-speed gate driver integrated circuit. IXD0579M simplifies circuit board design, saves space, and provides a reliable multi-source alternative for driving N-channel MOSFETs or IGBTs in half bridge configurations.
The IXD0579M is designed to operate within a wide power supply range of 6.5 V to 18 V, integrating a bootstrap diode and a series current limiting resistor in a single compact 3 × 3 mm ² TDFN-10 package, which typically require separate installation. This innovative integrated design reduces the number and cost of components on the bill of materials, while also simplifying the PCB layout.
Main product features and advantages
High driving capability: 1.5 A pulling current and 2.5 A pouring current output driving current;
Wide power supply voltage range: operates within the range of 6.5 V to 18 V, with UVLO protection;
Integrated bootstrap circuit: simplified design of on-chip bootstrap diodes and resistors;
Logic level compatibility: directly interface with TTL and CMOS levels (as low as 3.3 V);
Cross conduction protection: prevents the high and low voltage sides from conducting simultaneously;
Ultra low standby current: In standby mode, the power consumption is less than 1 μ A, achieving high efficiency and energy saving;
Thermal robustness: operating temperature range from -40 ℃ to+125 ℃.
