The MJD series is now available, covering 2 – 8 A and 45 – 100 V, and enhances Nexperia's power portfolio.

Nijmegen, July 29, 2021: Nexperia, an expert in the field of basic semiconductor devices, today announced the launch of nine new power bipolar transistors, expanding the product portfolio of DPAK package with thermal and electrical advantages, covering 2 a - 8 A and 45 V - 100 V applications. The new MJD series devices are pin compatible with other MJD devices packaged in DPAK, and have significant advantages in reliability.

The new MJD series bipolar transistors meet the aec-q101 automotive and industrial device standards, with ratings of 2 a 50 V (mjd2873 / - Q), 3 a 100 V (mjd31ch-q), 4 a 45 V (mjd148 / - Q) and 6 a 100 V (mjd41c / - Q and mjd42c / - Q). Mjd31ch-q is designed as a high gain version. All devices have leading DPAK packaging reliability and have pin sizes in line with industry standards. Bipolar transistors are widely used, such as LED automotive lighting system; Backlight dimming in LCD display; Linear regulator; Relay replacement products, motor drives and MOSFET Drivers.

Pedram zoroofchi, Nexperia's product manager, commented: "Nexperia, as a supplier, is famous for its high volume and high quality, with a wide range of customers. We provide designers with additional voltage current options by expanding the MJD series of power bipolar transistors, and adopt solid DPAK packaging. Therefore, Nexperia, as a high-performance supplier, can provide our customers with products with high quality and high performance advantages."
