XP Power launches ultra compact, medically certified, 4:1 input DC-DC converter suitable for BF and CF applications

XP Power has officially announced the launch of the JMR03/10/20 series for 3W, 10W, and 20W. This ultra compact, medical certified DC-DC converter offers a 4:1 input ratio, making it suitable for various input requirements. This product offers 2 x MOPP (patient protection mode) with a leakage current of only 2 µ A, ensuring easy integration into BF (body suspension) and CF (heart suspension) level medical applications.
One of the outstanding features of this product is its low no-load input idle current (as low as 4mA, depending on the model), which can improve efficiency, reduce waste heat, and extend the operating time of portable devices powered by batteries. The compact design of the JMR03/10/20 series can save valuable PCB space and provide more space for R&D personnel's applications. This sturdy, enclosed product is suitable for various mechanical pressure applications, including medical imaging, patient monitoring, patient treatment, dental and respiratory care equipment.
The modules of JMR03 (3.5W), JMR10 (10W), and JMR20 (20W) series can provide output voltages of 5V, 12V, 15V ± 12V, or ± 15V. The JMR10/20 series has an additional ± 5V output. The dual output module can also provide a single 10V, 24V, or 30V output. The single output module can also adjust the output voltage by -10% to+10% according to non-standard requirements. All output power and voltage combinations can operate at 24V (9.0-36.0V) or 48V (18.0-75.0V) input, and the JMR03/10 series can also operate at 12V (4.5-18V) input.
The working temperature range of JMR03/10/20 series is -40 ° C to+100 ° C. All modules provide short-circuit and overload protection functions, with remote on/off function, and an input to output insulation voltage of 5kVac. Safety certification includes UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60601-1 and UL62368-1, low voltage and RoHS directives with CE and UKCA markings.
The JMR03/10/20 series is available in stock with a shelf life of 3 years.
