As a typical networking method to save fiber optic resources, DWDM transmission scheme has been widely used in the network construction of operators. Due to the large number of wavelengths in DWDM scheme, in order to ensure the safety and reliability of network lines, operators need to prepare a large number of different types of optical modules as backups, resulting in a significant increase in operating costs. And Tunable technology can achieve an adaptive laser with different DWDM wavelengths to address the aforementioned pain points.
Based on this, Guangxun Technology has launched its self-developed 10G/25G Tunable optical module series products to meet the high-density interconnection of 5G base stations and other ring network transmission needs of customers. In addition, this module has features such as adaptive wavelength, fast cutting frequency, and normalized spare parts, ushering in the era of intelligent optical modules and helping telecom customers further reduce operating costs.
The module product launched this time adopts a self-developed 10G/25G tunable optical chip. The transmitting end adopts an internal separation scheme and a self-made tunable TOSA. The receiving end adopts a self-made APD/PIN chip scheme, which can achieve 10G 80km and 25G 15km link transmission. Among them, the 10G module can support up to 96 channels of transmission, and the 25G module can support 48 channels of transmission, both of which can complete automatic wavelength adjustment within 3 seconds. In addition, the product has a thermal power consumption of less than 2W and a working temperature power consumption of less than 2.5W. It uses a self-developed TOSA optical module to emit light with a power range of 0-4dBm, and the emission eye chart performance is good, reaching the leading level in the industry. Guangxun Technology has successfully joined mainstream organizations in the industry such as SmartTunable MSA. With its self-developed technology and close communication with industry peers, its products will fully support the latest protocol requirements.
