Xinyuan’s second-generation ISP series IP for automotive applications has passed ISO 26262 ASIL B and ASIL D certification

Xinyuan Corporation (Xinyuan, stock code: 688521. SH) announced today that its Image Signal Processor (ISP) IP ISP8200-FS and ISP8200L-FS, designed specifically for high-performance automotive applications, have passed the ISO 26262 certification for automotive functional safety standards, achieving a random failure safety level of ASIL B and a systematic failure safety level of ASIL D. The certification certificate is issued by the leading functional security consulting company ResilTech. The first generation ISP IP certified by ISO 26262 from Xinyuan has been adopted by multiple automotive customers. Based on this, the ISP8200-FS series IP has been upgraded for automotive applications, providing more advanced ISP technology and multiple enhanced key functions.

The ISP8200-FS series ISP IP for automotive applications provides high throughput pixel processing of 1.6 to 2 gigabits per second under different manufacturing processes. Based on the low latency technology under the multi camera scheduling mechanism, this series of IPs can support up to 8 real-time or 16 camera data streams from DDR, and enhance the original pixel processing pipeline to achieve efficient AI processing. In addition, the ISP8200-FS series IP has a built-in FLEXA AI interface, which can obtain ROI (Region of Interest) object information related to automobiles from the AI processor, for the detection and processing of pedestrians, vehicles, traffic lights, and signs.

Since its launch, the ISP8200-FS series IP has been widely adopted by multiple major automotive SoC suppliers worldwide, covering applications such as advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles, next-generation autonomous driving, and a universal algorithm framework for autonomous driving.
