The two new components cover a voltage range of -10 to+180 V, with a rated displacement of+160 V, a permissible surface temperature range of -40 to+160 ° C, heights of 30 mm and 45 mm, and cross-sectional dimensions of 5.2 mm x 5.2 mm. They can achieve displacement of 55 µ m (COM30S5) and 83 µ m (COM45S5) under preload conditions of 160 V and 730 N.
In addition, TDK plans to launch three more actuators in 2023 to meet a wider range of application requirements. At present, these actuators are only supplied as a small number of prototype samples and have not yet been mass-produced, including the COM10S5 with a height of 10 mm and a displacement of 16 µ m; COM27S3 (with lead wire type) with a height of 27 mm and a displacement of 47 µ m; And COM30S7 with a height of 30 mm, a cross-sectional area of 7 mm x 7 mm, a displacement of 55 µ m, and a thrust of up to 2600 N.
