HS2240P HotSwitch is an integrated electric fuse and surge protection device designed to prevent various electrical overload (EOS) conditions, including lightning, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and short circuit. The device operates within the input voltage range of 2.7 V to 22 V, and the current limiting threshold is 3.9A. The HS2240P is packaged in a 3.5 mm x 2 mm 14-pin DFN.
These two HotSwitch devices provide strong protection for consumer goods, industrial equipment, home appliances, smart TV, etc. The low leakage and low quiescent current characteristics make these devices also extend the battery life of portable devices. Compared with discrete or multi-chip solutions, HotSwitch IC can also reduce the number of materials and space area.
