(NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of three new series of automotive surface mount standard rectifiers - 2 A SE20Nx, 3 A SE30Nx and 4 A SE40Nx, all of which are the industry's advanced thin wettable side DFN3820A packaging devices. The reverse voltages of SE20Nx, SE30Nx and SE40Nx are 200 V, 400 V and 600 V respectively, which can provide space-saving and efficient solutions for commercial, industrial and automotive applications of power line polarity protection and rail-to-rail protection.

       The Vishay General Semiconductor rectifier released a few days ago uses the Vishay new power DFN series DFN3820A package for the first time, with a floor area of 3.8 mm x 2.0 mm and a typical thickness of only 0.88 mm, which can make more effective use of PCB space. At the same time, the excellent copper design and advanced chip mounting technology of the device can achieve excellent thermal performance and improve the rated working current.

       SE20Nx, SE30Nx, and SE40Nx have passed the AEC-Q101 certification, and the height is 12% lower than that of SMP (DO-220AA) packaging devices with the same occupation, and the rated current is doubled. In addition, the rated current of rectifier is equal to or greater than that of conventional SMB (DO-214AA) and SMC (DO-214AB) packages with larger volume, and eSMP ® Series SlimSMA (DO-221AC), SlimSMAW (DO-221AD), SMPA (DO-2212BC) and SMPC (TO-2778A) packaging devices.

       The rectifier adopts oxide planar chip junction design, and the typical reverse leakage current is less than 0.1 μ A. At the same time, the forward voltage is reduced to 0.86 V, which helps to reduce power consumption and improve efficiency. The operating temperature of the device is - 55 ° C to+175 ° C, and the ESD capability complies with IEC 61000-4-2 standard (air discharge mode). The rectifier is very suitable for automatic pickup and placement of patches. The MLS humidity sensitivity level reaches level 1 specified in J-STD-020, and the maximum LF peak value is 260 ° C. The device complies with RoHS standards and is halogen-free.

       The new DFN3820A packaged surface-mount standard rectifier can now provide samples and has achieved mass production, with a supply cycle of 12 weeks.
