TDK’s new ultra-thin printed coil will revolutionize wireless charging

TDK Co., Ltd. has launched a thin printed coil to support the wireless charging of the next generation mobile devices. The product has been in mass production since May 2022. The development of wct38466-n0e0sst101 product does not use the traditional photolithography exposure / etching technology, but combines the subversive process technology of TDK with the electroplating technology using the organic compound polypyrrole nano dispersion developed by Achilles Co., Ltd. Although the wireless charging coil is usually produced by winding method, this new method can use thick copper pattern to print the charging coil on the film.
