Microchip releases the industry’s first microcontroller integrating powerful security subsystem and arm TrustZone Technology
2022-08-06
The increasingly complex security threats pose challenges to the development of products in the Internet of things (IOT), consumer, industrial, medical and other markets. These products must have strong embedded security and low power consumption to extend battery life. Microchip Technology Inc. today announced the launch of the industry’s first integrated security subsystem and arm in a single package ® TrustZone ® Technology pic32cm ls60 single chip microcomputer (MCU). The new microcontroller integrates microchip’s trust platform security subsystem, making it easier to develop terminal products using a single microcontroller instead of two or more chips.
