Vishay launches two latest IGBT and MOSFET drivers with compact, highly isolated and extended SO-6 packaging

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of two latest IGBT and MOSFET drivers, VOFD341A and VOFD343A, using a compact, highly isolated and extended SO-6 package. The peak output currents of Vishay VOFD341A and VOFD343A are 3 A and 4 A, respectively, with a working temperature of up to+125 ° C and a propagation delay as low as 200 ns.
The optocoupler released today includes an AlGaAs LED (which is optically coupled to integrated circuits with power output stages for solar inverters and micro inverters), AC and brushless DC industrial motor control inverters, and an inverter stage for AC/DC conversion in UPS. The device is very suitable for directly driving IGBT rated up to 1200 V/100 A.
VOFD341A and VOFD343A support high operating temperatures, providing higher temperature safety margins for more compact designs, while the high peak output current of the devices can achieve faster switching without the need for additional driver stages. The propagation delay of the device is low, which can minimize switching losses and help with more precise PWM regulation.
The high isolation packaging of optocouplers can support high operating voltages up to 1140 V, making them suitable for high-voltage inverter stages while still maintaining sufficient voltage safety margin. These devices comply with RoHS regulations and can support up to 50 kV/µ s immunity, preventing droop functions in fast switching power levels.
VOFD341A and VOFD343A are now available for samples and have achieved mass production, with an ordering cycle of six weeks.
