[Introduction] Diodes (Nasdaq: DIOD) will launch its latest PCIe ® 3.0 Packet Switcher DIODES ™ PI7C9X3G1224GP。 This product is a high-performance 12 port, 24 channel device, which can be used for edge computing, data storage devices, communication infrastructure, and integrated into host bus adapters (HBAs), industrial controllers and network routers.
The low packet forwarding delay of PI7C9X3G1224GP is less than 150ns (typical value). The flexible port configuration of this device is realized by allocating the range of variable channel width through each port. For the purpose of fanout, the ports of any packet switch can be set as uplink ports and connected to multiple downlink ports. Through the cross domain endpoint (CDEP) configuration of a specific port, you can support multi host configuration, thereby improving performance and expanding functions. Adaptive receiver and transmitter equalization (RXEQ/TXEQ) functions include helping to maintain the signal integrity level and ensuring continuous system stability.
The integrated PCIe 3.0 clock buffer is another advantage of the PI7C9X3G1224GP product. This simplifies design and reduces overall bill of materials (BOM) costs. The advanced power management function makes it very suitable for system design focusing on energy saving benefits. The operating temperature is continuously monitored using its built-in thermal sensor. It also includes error reporting and other diagnostic functions.
PI7C9X3G1224GP adopts 324 pin flip chip BGA packaging format.
