MALVERN, Pennsylvania, USA, Shanghai, China - April 20, 2026- Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of a new IHLP thin high current inductor, the IHLP1212-EZ-1Z, which uses a compact 1212 package. For commercial applications with limited space, Vishay Dale IHLP1212-EZ-1Z adopts a compact 3.0 mm × 3.0 mm package size, offering three thickness specifications of 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm. Its electrical performance is comparable to larger sized devices.


The recently released product has been optimized for thin DC/DC converters, power line noise suppression, and filtering applications in power management (PMIC). The application areas of this inductor include industrial drivers and tools, home and building controls, computers and computer peripherals, consumer entertainment and healthcare equipment, telecommunications equipment, and medical devices.
 
The IHLP1212-EZ-1Z is designed to provide high efficiency for these applications, with a typical DCR range of 8.6 mW to 50.4 mW and a wide range of inductance values (0.22 µ H to 3.3 µ H). The inductor has a rated current of up to 14.3 A, a working temperature range of -55 ° C to+125 ° C, and can withstand high transient current spikes without saturation.
 
Compared with ferrite technology, IHLP1212-EZ-1Z has better performance. The IHLP1212-EZ-1Z uses a sturdy iron powder core that completely wraps around its winding - eliminating air gaps and providing magnetic shielding against crosstalk to nearby components; Meanwhile, its smooth saturation curve ensures stable performance throughout the entire operating temperature and rated current range.
 
This inductor is packaged with a 100% lead-free shielding composite structure, which can reduce buzzing noise to ultra-low levels and has the ability to resist thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock. This device complies with RoHS standards, is halogen-free, and meets Vishay green standards.
