ADI ADMT4000 is a single-chip multi turn position sensor with an absolute measurement range of 46 turns (16560 °). The design adopted by this device eliminates the need for backup power and gear mechanisms required by typical position sensors and encoders, thus simplifying the design and reducing costs. The sensor is non-contact and has an accuracy of ± 0.25 ° throughout the entire measurement range.
