According to SiEngine, on December 15th, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as "National Innovation Center") and Hubei Xinqing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinqing Technology") was held in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. At the same time, the joint establishment of the "Automotive SoC Chip Forward Verification Joint Laboratory" by both parties has officially been unveiled.

It is reported that both parties will rely on the strength of the National Innovation Center in chip reliability evaluation, functional safety, and application evaluation, as well as the core technology of Xinqing Technology in the design and research and development of automotive grade chips, to carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of automotive grade chips, intelligent networking, and automotive electronics.

In addition, by jointly building a joint laboratory for prospective verification of automotive SoC chips, both parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in basic research and development areas such as testing and verification throughout the chip lifecycle, operators, toolchains, and compilers.

Xinqing Technology is a manufacturer that can achieve mass production of 7-nanometer automotive grade chips. The company has scaled up the installation of "Dragon Eagle One" in multiple models such as the Lynk&Co 08. The Dragon Eagle One adopts the most advanced process and multi-core heterogeneous architecture design, achieving up to 100K DMIPS CPU computing power, 900 GFLOPS GPU computing power, and 8 TOPS NPU computing power.
