2023-10-28
The 2023 4D New User Conference "Smart Entry New Path · Craft Core Born" Automotive Electronic Chip Theme Forum was successfully held in Shanghai. At the meeting, Jiefa Technology, a subsidiary of Four Dimensional New, announced the launch of the first multi-core high frequency MCU AC7870x that complies with functional safety ASIL-D based on the Arm Cortex R52 core. The release of AC7870x will officially launch Jiefa Technology's layout in the field of high-end automotive standard MCU, and effectively promote the innovation and development of intelligent automotive electronic and electrical architecture, enhancing the competitiveness of independent automotive chips in the global automotive electronics market.

The AC7870x series of chips adopts a multi-core Arm Cortex R52 core with a main frequency of up to 350MHz. It can support lock step cores and Hypervisors, improve system redundancy and fault tolerance, reduce the impact of faults, and ensure stable system operation. In terms of functional safety, AC7870x has achieved the highest ASIL-D level in ISO 26262 for the first time, which can meet the ASIL level requirements of the automotive core ECU and ensure the safety and reliability of automotive electronic applications in extremely complex and high-risk scenarios. At the same time, the chip meets the requirements of AEC-Q100 Grade 1, with a working temperature range of -40~125 ℃.

ASIL level requirements for common ECUs

AC7870x can provide high-level information security solutions, with built-in HSM modules on the chip, which comply with the international Evita Full standard. At the same time, it supports the national secret SM2/3/4 algorithm and can provide users with information security firmware that complies with ISO 21434, meeting high-level information security requirements at home and abroad, fully ensuring the security of data transmission and storage.

Common ECU Information Security Requirements

AC7870x has a built-in flash storage of over 10MB and supports silent upgrades with up to 320 pins. It has rich peripheral interface resources and can be packaged in BGA320 and LQFP176, with 8 chip models. In terms of software ecology, AC7870x supports mainstream AUTOSAR ecological partners, including Puhua, Neusoft Ruichi, Jingwei Hengrun, Vector, EB, ETAS, etc. It also provides MCAL and supporting configuration tools that meet the functional safety ASIL-D level, providing users with a convenient and efficient development experience.

AC7870x offers two packaging options and eight product models

With its high performance, high safety and reliability, and abundant resources, the AC7870x can be widely used in scenarios such as power chassis domains that require the highest level of functional safety, new energy, three electric, and regional controllers under the new electronic and electrical architecture. AC7870x, as the latest high-end MCU product independently developed by Jiefa Technology, has improved the middle and high level layout of Jiefa Technology's MCU product line. At the same time, it will bring new high-end MCU solutions to the intelligent automotive industry and enhance the competitiveness of domestic automotive chips in the global automotive electronics market.

Li Wenxiong, Chief Technology Officer of Jiefa Technology, stated that the AC7870x is Jiefa Technology's first attempt to target the high-end automotive grade MCU field, and its release marks a significant breakthrough in the strategic layout of the automotive chip field of Four Dimensional New. As a leader in domestic automotive MCU manufacturers, Jiefa Technology has not only launched the first domestic automotive standard 32-bit MCU, but also has a responsibility and obligation to layout and expand into high-end chips. Under the wave of intelligent vehicle development, Jiefa Technology will continue to increase research and development investment, innovate continuously, embrace new technologies, and provide higher quality products and services for the global automotive electronics industry.
