The TI AWR1843AOP sensor supplied by Maoze Electronics is an Antenna On Package (AOP) device suitable for the 76 to 81GHz frequency band. AWR1843AOP adopts Texas Instruments' low-power 45nm RFCMOS process, integrating a DSP subsystem (including high-performance C674x DSP for radar signal processing), a BIST processor subsystem responsible for radio configuration, control, and calibration, and a user programmable Arm for automotive interfaces ® Cortex ®- R4F processor.
The hardware accelerator module (HWA) of AWR1843AOP can perform radar processing jobs, helping the DSP reduce the load to execute more advanced algorithms. Simply changing the programming model can achieve various sensor applications, such as door opening, parking, blind spot monitoring, and lane changing applications. By dynamically reconfiguring, multi-mode sensors can be achieved.
