Diodes’ 20Gbps 2x2 switch enables fast multitasking/switching between automotive media and driver assistance systems

Diodes Corporation (Diodes) has launched a new DIODES PI3DBS16222Q to meet the demand for improved automotive computing capabilities and high-speed interface connectivity. This 4-channel differential exchange switch provides a highly efficient multitasking solution for automotive infotainment, telematics, SATA 3.0, SAS 3.0, and ADAS systems.
The PI3DBS16222Q meets automotive specifications and is capable of performing 2x2 differential multitasking operations at 20Gbps, while supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCI Express 4.0, and 10GBASE-KR standards. In addition, the device utilizes proprietary design technology to enhance its dynamic electrical characteristics, providing low insertion loss (- 2.0dB for 10GHz typical values) and crosstalk (- 17dB for 10GHz typical values) values, ensuring high signal integrity. This device can also achieve a bit to bit offset of 10 ps and low return loss.
Diodes' PI3DBS16222Q high-speed multi-channel switching switch conforms to the AEC-Q100 Grade 2 specification, is manufactured by an IATF 16949 certified facility, and supports PPAP files. It is packaged in a compact 2.5mm x 4.5mm TQFN-30L (ZL30) package.
