JAE Launches Low Back Waterproof Composite Plastic Shell Connector for Servo Motor

In recent years, robots and working machines are miniaturized and highly functional, and the built-in servo motor requires less assembly space. At the same time, it is required to reduce the number of cables used.
To meet this demand, "JN13 series" integrates a total of six pins (three for power supply, one for grounding, and two for braking) into one connector (Figure 1), thus reducing the number of connectors and cables used for braking. Because there is reinforced insulation between the power line and the brake signal line, it can be used safely as a composite connector.
In addition, considering the influence of noise, a 9-pin connector for encoder is also introduced. To avoid interference during the assembly of 6-pin connector for power/braking, 6-pin connector and 9-pin connector are pulled out diagonally (Figure 3).
The inosculation of socket and plug realizes the simple fixed structure of the lock screw fixed housing, which not only realizes the miniaturization and low back of the connector, but also realizes the high connection performance and high waterproof performance. The structure for electrically connecting the grounding terminal and the metal housing while fixing (Fig. 2) allows easy grounding connection of the housing while assembling the connector.
The utility model has the structure that the screws are not easy to fall off from the housing, thereby achieving excellent operability. According to the different ways of carrying the parts, even if the cables with the same part are used, they can also be turned 180 degrees. Customers can choose according to the purpose (Figure 4).
This product helps to reduce the back of the servo motor. As it is a composite connector that can reduce cables, it is particularly suitable for robot servo motors that need to use brakes. Structure of JN13 series
