TDK Sensei, a subsidiary of TDK Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange code: 6762), announced the launch of a new high-performance sensing node - TDK Sensei edgeRX Pro. This product serves as an important extension of the TDK SenseI predictive maintenance platform edgeRX series, further enhancing the capabilities of industrial equipment condition monitoring and edge intelligent analysis.

The edgeRX Pro integrates vibration, acoustics, magnetic field, temperature, and rotational motion sensing capabilities, using a built-in six axis inertial measurement unit (6-axis IMU) and edge AI processing technology, and is packaged in a compact IP67 industrial enclosure. In addition to supporting battery power mode, edgeRX Pro also supports USB wired power mode. When connecting to a USB power source, the system will prioritize USB power supply to meet the flexible deployment needs of different application scenarios such as product evaluation, pilot testing, and long-term fixed installation. Designed for harsh industrial environments, edgeRX Pro can achieve long-term continuous status monitoring of equipment, and when designed with low power consumption, it can provide up to 10 years of battery life.

This sensor further enhances the platform's functionality by increasing data sampling frequency, stronger device side intelligent analysis capabilities, and richer sensor input dimensions. This includes the integration of a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), magnetometer, and digital microphone, which can enhance the ability to detect subtle anomalies and provide deeper and more accurate data insights for predictive maintenance.
