(NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of a new series of thick film chip resistors, RCA-SR e3, that comply with the AEC-Q200 standard. The RCA-SR e3 series resistors have excellent sulfur resistance and long-term stability, and are available in five compact packages, suitable for applications in the automotive, industrial, and communication fields.
The recently released resistor is specifically designed for sulfur-containing environments and meets the anti sulfurization performance requirements of ASTM B809-25 standard. After running at 60 ° C for 1000 hours, the maximum resistance drift is only 1%. The duration of testing at the same temperature is better than that of competing devices. In addition, the RCA-SR e3 series resistors have high stability under harsh environmental conditions, with a relative rate of change (Δ R/R) of ≤ 1% after running at rated power for 1000 hours at 70 ° C.
Resistors are available in five packages: 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206, with a rated power of up to 0.25 W and a working voltage of 30 V to 200 V. The device has a wide resistance range from 10 Ω to 10 M Ω, with tolerances of ± 1% and ± 5%, and a temperature coefficient (TCR) of ± 100 ppm/K and ± 200 ppm/K.
The RCA-SR e3 series resistors comply with RoHS standards, are halogen-free, and have a dedicated protective coating that provides electrical, mechanical, and climate protection. Resistors are suitable for automatic soldering processes such as wave soldering, reflow soldering, or gas phase soldering, and their pure matte tin coating is compatible with lead-free (Pb) and lead based soldering processes.
