MALVERN, Pennsylvania, USA, Shanghai, China - December 10, 2025- Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of a new type of NTC thermistor, NTCS0402E3104 * XT, which is AEC-Q200 certified and protected by a glass package. It is packaged in the widely used 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm x 1 mm 0402 package. The Vishay BCcomponents NTCS0402E3104 * XT β value (B25/85) is as high as 4311 K, and the resistance value is 100 kW at+25 ° C (R25).
The recently released thermistor is packaged in glass for comprehensive protection. The R25 resistance and B25/85 value tolerances are as low as ± 1%, allowing for precise temperature detection, protection, and compensation within the temperature range of -55 ° C to+150 ° C. According to the human body model (HBM) test, the device's electrostatic discharge (ESD) withstand capacity exceeds 25 kV.
NTCS0402E3104 * XT is an industry standard size that can directly replace competitive solutions. It is suitable for automotive LED modules, electronic control units, sensor assemblies, battery packs, as well as cameras, radar and LiDAR modules, energy meters, office equipment, and industrial smoke and fire detectors.
NTC thermistor adopts SMD structure, nickel tin terminals, suitable for wave soldering or reflow soldering. The device complies with RoHS standards, is halogen-free, and is packaged with perforated paper tape on reels, with a quantity of 10000 pieces per reel. To speed up the design, SPICE type devices can be chosen.
