This high-performance BCT40T series is designed for research and development engineers working in fields such as testing and measurement, robotics, process control, analytical instruments, and communication equipment. Its ultra compact metal packaging has significant advantages, saving valuable PCB area and providing more space for customer application circuits. This smaller footprint sets it apart from many 40W alternatives, which typically use larger 2 "x 1" (50.8mm x 24.4mm) packages, reducing the required circuit board space by 50% for the BCT40T.
This series has an ultra wide 4:1 input voltage range, ensuring operation at multiple input voltages. The model can provide rated 24VDC input (ranging from 9.0V to 36.0VDC) and 48VDC input (ranging from 18.0V to 75.0VDC). The BCT40T series offers single voltage regulation outputs ranging from 3.3V to 24VDC, as well as dual voltage regulation outputs of ± 12VDC and ± 15VDC. In addition, the single output model provides the flexibility of ± 10% output voltage regulation through external fine-tuning resistors, thereby achieving specific voltage requirements and optimized system performance.
The BCT40T series has high efficiency, reaching up to 89% depending on the model.
