The device saves space with a footprint of only 4 mm x 4 mm, a sealing level of IP67, and a working temperature of+140 ℃

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of a new series of industrial grade multi turn surface mount metal ceramic micro adjustment potentiometers - TSM41. The Vishay Sfernice TSM41 series devices are designed for applications with limited space in harsh environments, with dimensions of only 4 mm x 4 mm, a working temperature range of -55 ° C to+140 ° C, and a sealing rating of IP67.

Compared with the previous generation of devices, the recently released fine-tuning potentiometer has reduced its external dimensions by 42%, making it easier for designers to save circuit board space and optimize packaging density. In addition, the TSM41 series can be fine tuned within a wide resistance range of 10 W to 1 MW, and the setting speed is faster than that of a single turn fine tuning potentiometer. The device has a rated power of 0.25 W at+85 ° C and has two adjustment modes, top and side, which can flexibly meet various design requirements.

The TSM41 series can be directly fixed on PCBs, supporting automated PCB assembly and setup processes, improving production efficiency, while shortening time and reducing costs. The micro potentiometer is fully sealed and can withstand the cleaning process of standard circuit boards, ensuring reliability in welding equipment, power tools, smoke detectors, and HVAC cooling systems.

The TSM41 series can now provide samples and has achieved mass production, with a supply cycle of 15 weeks.
