It is reported that the investment scale of Zonghui Xinguang FabX project has reached 550 million yuan, and a 3-inch production line for semiconductor high-speed communication optical chips with an annual production capacity of 50 million chips will be built, equipped with advanced research and development centers and testing centers.
According to the data, Changzhou Zonghui Xinguang Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2015 and is committed to the research, design, production, and manufacturing of vertical cavity surface laser emitters (VCSEL). The product is mainly used in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, optical communication and other fields. In terms of financing, we have obtained investments from well-known enterprises and institutions such as Wuyuefeng Capital, BYD, Huawei's Hubble Technology Investment Co., Ltd., and Xiaomi's Hubei Xiaomi Yangtze River Industry Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership). According to data released by Zonghui Xinguang, it has delivered over 250 million chips to the market so far and maintained an excellent record of zero failure in application sites.
Zonghui Xinguang pointed out that as a leading VCSEL device supplier in the industry, the company has set multiple records: the first VCSEL manufacturer in China to mass produce VCSEL chips on mobile phones in 2018, the first VCSEL manufacturer in the world to pass automotive certification in 2020, the first VCSEL manufacturer in the world to mass produce VCSEL chips before DMS TOF in 2021, the first VCSEL manufacturer in China to mass produce VCSEL chips before DMS TOF in 2022, the first VCSEL manufacturer in China to ship over one million VCSEL chips on automotive electronic LiDAR in 2023, and the first solid-state LiDAR 2D addressable VCSEL manufacturer in the world to mass produce VCSEL chips in 2024.
