RECOM launches a new high specification compact AC/DC DIN rail power supply.
RECOM has partnered with its recently acquired power expert LECO to launch a series of breakthrough cost advantages in three-phase DIN rail power supplies. The RACPRO1 series includes products with rated power of 240W, 480W, and 960W. Its ultra compact design leads similar products, with widths of only 43mm, 52mm, and 80mm, respectively. The design team has achieved excellent electrical efficiency through advanced thermal management technology, so there is no need to leave cooling space on both sides of the product, maximizing the overall system packaging density.
With an excellent efficiency of up to 97.1%, the product can operate at full load in an environment of+60 ° C with only convective cooling, and can operate normally at temperatures as low as -40 ° C, significantly lower than most similar products. Another major advantage of this series is that all models can provide an additional 20% power at+45 ° C and an additional 50% power within five seconds, making it ideal for powering capacitive or high surge loads without the need for a specific power source.
All products in the series can operate under three-phase 320-575VAC or 430-850VDC input, while the 240W product can also operate under two-phase 350-575VAC input. RACPRO1-T240 has a 24VDC regulated output and provides adjustable voltage of 24-28VDC, while RACPRO1-T480 and RACPRO1-T960 offer two adjustable output voltage options of 24V or 48V (48-56VDC).
This product series is manufactured in Europe and designed to have a longer lifespan. The high level of input surge and output return voltage immunity improves the reliability of the product, making it very suitable for industrial environments and motor or inductive loads. The no-load power consumption of the product is lower than other similar products, and it provides a DC-OK signal. In addition, the 480W and 960W products also have CV/CC output characteristics, supporting battery charging and parallel output. This product series complies with the DIN rail mechanical standard EN 60715 and adopts a 25 degree tool free press connection. The product can be directly inserted into the standard DIN rail without the need for tools.
The safety certifications obtained by the product include IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, and IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-201, and comply with EMC standards EN 61000-6-4 Class B and EN61000-6-2 radiation and immunity standards.
