Bourns launches three new semi shielded power inductors for high temperature operation

February 24, 2022 - Bain Bourns, the world's leading supplier of electronic components, launched three new model series of semi shielded power inductors to expand the product line. Bourns ® Srn3030ha, srn4030ha and srn5030ha power inductors comply with aec-200 standard. They are designed with high current capacity, small size, low loss, high working frequency and high working temperature. The high-temperature grade materials meet the rated working temperature of 150 ° C, and provide a wide working temperature range of – 55 to + 150 ° C. These features and functions make Bourns's latest power inductors highly reliable and become consumer, industrial and telecommunications electronic products.
Compared with the unshielded option, the magnetic silica coating applied around the inductor winding can enhance the shielding of the inductor and reduce magnetic field radiation. In addition, compared with traditional ferrite shielded inductors of similar size, the semi shielded structure helps to reduce the component cost. Each series can provide different heating current ratings with saturation current from 5 A to 10 A. Bourns ® The inductance range of srn3040ha and srn4030ha series is 1-100 μ H. The inductance range of srn5030ha is 0.47-100 μ H。 These compact power inductors can achieve high Q values of 13 to 33, provide high impedance at resonant frequency and operate in combination with low loss.
