The RACM30-K/277 series on-board AC/DC converters with a rated power of 30 W from RECOM are highly cost-effective and popular among customers. They have now expanded their product range and can be offered in an open frame (OF version), with a weight only half of the existing encapsulated version.
The RACM30-K/277/OF series can provide 30 W continuous power (up to 36 W peak) with a micro package size of only 76.2 x 38.1 x 23 mm. The operating temperature range of the module during natural ventilation is -40 ° C to+55 ° C (depending on the model), with a maximum of+90 ° C during derating. The input voltage range is 85 VAC to 305 VAC (120 V to 430 VDC), covering all nominal voltages up to 277 VAC, and providing regulated outputs of 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V,+/-12 V, and+/-15 V. It has short-circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection functions and is classified as a "restricted power supply". These products have an insulation level of II and are suitable for working environments with overvoltage category III (OVC III) and pollution level 3 (PD3), with an altitude of up to 5000 meters.
