The RACM30-K/277 series on-board AC/DC converters with a rated power of 30 W from RECOM are highly cost-effective and popular among customers. They have now expanded their product range and can be offered in an open frame (OF version), with a weight only half of the existing encapsulated version.
The RACM30-K/277/OF series can provide 30 W continuous power (up to 36 W peak) with a micro package size of only 76.2 x 38.1 x 23 mm. The operating temperature range of the module during natural ventilation is -40 ° C to+55 ° C (depending on the model), with a maximum of+90 ° C during derating. The input voltage range is 85 VAC to 305 VAC (120 V to 430 VDC), covering all nominal voltages up to 277 VAC, and providing regulated outputs of 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V,+/-12 V, and+/-15 V. It has short-circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection functions and is classified as a "restricted power supply". These products have an insulation level of II and are suitable for working environments with overvoltage category III (OVC III) and pollution level 3 (PD3), with an altitude of up to 5000 meters. Obtained security certification including audio/video and information communication technology (ICT), testing equipment, home, industrial, and patient protection measures (MOPP) healthcare. The rated isolation voltage is 4 kVAC/1 minute. Meet the ecological design requirements of idle/standby power consumption, and the efficiency curve is almost flat under light loads. Even when the output is grounded, it can easily meet the EMC Class B standard without the need for external components.
Molex TM electrical connectors are used for input and output, and provide mechanical fixation for PCB support columns for installation in terminal devices.
Typical applications of this series include electric vehicle charger housekeeping power supply, industrial automation, healthcare, IoT, lighting, and intelligent energy systems.
