DeTech Assists Aojie Technology in Verifying 5G Chip Products Supporting RedCap Technology
Compared to traditional wireless terminal devices, RedCap technology can support new 5G terminal devices with lower complexity, cost, and power consumption. Like other cellular terminal devices, RedCap terminal devices require time-consuming and expensive certification from accredited laboratories before being launched on the market. However, due to the current wireless infrastructure not fully supporting RedCap technology, actual performance testing cannot be conducted. To address this challenge, chipset designers need a digital twin platform to simulate the actual performance of RedCap technology.
The UXM 5G network simulation solution from DeTech enables Aojie Technology to simulate and test the real conditions required for its 5G RedCap Internet of Things (IoT) chipset using a base station digital twin system, completing early testing of its RedCap terminal equipment. Aojie Technology uses De Tech's S8711A UXM 5G test application to establish data call connections, and verifies the actual performance of its chipset by running radio frequency (RF) measurements, functional and performance tests.
DeTech's comprehensive terminal device testing solution portfolio provides industry-leading Rel-17 standard coverage with the latest features. The S8704A protocol consistency testing tool kit, as well as the S8705A RF/RRM DVT and consistency testing tool kit, can verify whether the design fully complies with the 3GPP testing specifications.
