Mao Ze launches STMicroelectronics LIS2DUX12 and LIS2DUXS12 intelligent accelerometers for wearable and always aware applications

Mouser Electronics will begin selling the LIS2DUX12 and LIS2DUXS12 AI enhanced intelligent accelerometers from STMicroelectronics today. These accelerometers use STMicroelectronics' third-generation MEMS technology, which can accurately detect events and gestures with high accuracy and low power consumption. This new intelligent accelerometer supports a series of "always aware" applications, including wearable devices, game controllers, portable medical devices, asset trackers, and wireless sensor nodes. These AI enhanced devices also have a built-in machine learning kernel with adaptive self configuration function, which can reduce the workload of the host and achieve faster system response.
The STMicroelectronics LIS2DUX12 AI enhanced intelligent accelerometer is a digital intelligent three-axis linear accelerometer. LIS2DUX12 MEMS and ASIC combine features such as low power consumption, normally open anti aliasing filtering, and finite state machine. This functionally rich accelerometer has four performance modes, including 10.8 µ A high performance mode with anti aliasing filter, 6.2 µ A low power mode with anti aliasing filter, 2.7 µ A ultra low power mode, and only 0.01 µ A power off mode.
LIS2DUXS12 AI enhanced intelligent accelerometer with built-in STMicroelectronics unique Qvar ® The sensing channel and analog hub can sense changes in the surrounding electrostatic environment, thereby achieving presence and proximity detection. Developers can use the Qvar sensing channel to add more added value to applications, suitable for liquid detection, biometric sensing, and user interface control.
