Maoze launches Silicon Labs Series 2 wireless SoC to provide wireless connectivity for the future Internet of Things

Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor of semiconductors and electronic components focusing on the introduction of new products, will now stock Silicon Labs BG24 and MG24 series 2 wireless system on chip (SoC) devices. This series of products is a low-power wireless SoC that supports 2.4GHz RF and is equipped with AI/ML hardware accelerator, which provides an ideal solution for the wireless connection of the Internet of Things (IoT) using Matter, OpenThread and Zigbee protocols. These new wireless SoC products support a variety of smart home, lighting and building automation applications, including gateways and hubs, sensors, location services and predictive maintenance.
Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 wireless SoC distributed by Mao Ze adopts Arm ® Cortex ®- M33 microcontroller, running at 78MHz, provides 1.5MB flash memory and 256KB RAM. These SoCs have excellent energy efficiency and are equipped with AI/ML hardware accelerators, which can ensure high reliability of current and future IoT designs. EFR32MG24 SoC also provides a wide range of MCU peripherals, including two digital-to-analog converters, up to 32 universal I/O pins (with output state holding and asynchronous interrupt functions), two 32-bit timers/counters (with three compare/capture/PWM channels), and two 32-bit real-time counters. EFR32MG24 series 2 wireless SoC provides powerful performance, and its operating temperature range is − 40 ° C to+125 ° C.
EFR32BG24 wireless SoC supports low-power Bluetooth (BLE 5.3) and Bluetooth mesh network connection, with excellent low-power wireless performance and rich security functions. With the low power consumption of the system, these devices can provide 4.4mA RX current and 5mA (0dBm output power)/19.1mA (10dBm output power)/156.8mA (19.5dBm output power) TX current. The security functions of these SoCs include hardware encryption acceleration, security debugging and unlocking, true random number generator and security key management using PUF.
