AG18 supports C-V2X PC5 direct communication and can be used anywhere in the world without the assistance or coverage of SIM card and cellular network. It uses the globally unified ITS 5.9GHz frequency band to provide low delay and high reliability information transmission for vehicle to vehicle (V2V), vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle to pedestrian (V2P), and to obtain the status and intention of traffic participants within the beyond visual range or non visual range, so as to avoid traffic accidents.
In addition to supporting excellent C-V2X communication capabilities, AG18 also provides flexible and rich positioning functions, including optional L1+L5 dual band GNSS positioning, Qualcomm Position Estimation (QDR3), high-precision PPE (RTK) and other technologies, enabling global vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers to freely choose positioning technologies that are closer to their application needs.

Based on Qualcomm SA415M platform, the AG18 module is developed and manufactured in strict accordance with IATF 16949:2016 quality management system standards for the automotive industry. In terms of appearance design, AG18 is compatible with the first generation C-V2X module AG15 of Yuanyi. Existing customer equipment can be seamlessly migrated and upgraded through simple direct replacement, greatly reducing its design cost and development time. At the same time, AG18 has rich interfaces, such as PCIe, USB 3.0/2.0, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC, and 1pps, to facilitate customers to develop technical solutions for TCU, T-BOX, V-BOX, RSU and other terminal applications.
